Documents Required for PAN Card Services
Prepare current identity, address, date-of-birth, applicant-category, photograph, signature, and entity evidence for the selected new PAN or correction request.
New PAN documents
Choose Form 93 for an Indian individual, Form 94 for an entity formed in India, Form 95 for a non-citizen individual, or Form 96 for an entity formed outside India. Use the proof list applicable to that category.
Proof categories
Prepare accepted identity, address, and date-of-birth or incorporation evidence. Aadhaar may support identity and address for Form 93, but it is not accepted as date-of-birth proof under the 2026 rules.
PAN correction documents
For name, DOB, parent-detail, address, contact, photo, or signature corrections, provide clear evidence showing the requested correct detail and follow the current authorised correction form.
Common PAN document problems
Check for blurred or cropped scans, incomplete or unsupported documents, name and DOB mismatches, the wrong applicant type, missing signatures, and poor image quality.
